Nowadays, the large array of SUVs available to consumers can be overwhelming. Manufacturers have models in every fleet vying for a slice of this burgeoning market.

In Grasso’s Garage this week we consider an all-electric powerhouse that is here to prove a point: that the 2026 Porsche Macan Turbo Electric does it better than the rest. Porsche completely bypassed the styling often seen in today’s EV market and went right for the muscular stance everyone wants. Riding on 22-inch staggered wheels, boasting sports-car styling, the Macan Turbo Electric has an aggressive hoodline and split LED headlights.

Powered by a massive 100-kWh battery pack paired with dual-motor all-wheel drive, this muscular machine produces 630 horsepower and a jaw-dropping 833 pound-fet of overboost torque. Turn the dial on the steering wheel, plant your right foot, and hang on as it earns an astounding 0 to 60 time in 3.1 seconds. Power isn’t everything the Macan Turbo Electric offers; the standard adaptive air suspension and rear-axle steering allow this 5,393-pound EV to nail every corner on those mountainous back roads we all enjoy.

Our weeklong tester boasted an ultra-premium layout, highlighted by a curved 12.6-inch digital gauge cluster, a crisp center infotainment touchscreen, and an exclusive passenger display. For the everyday commuter, range anxieties are a thing of the past. The Macan Turbo Electric offered a 288 miles range on a full charge; it takes a 20 minute fast-charge to go from 10% to 80%. While front seat legroom was excellent, the rear-legroom was tight for passenger comfort, but still a thrill for all regardless of where you sit.

The Macan Turbo Electric is a true powerhouse EV, with the stance and power everyone dreams of.
