“Bachelorette” producers reportedly “cut corners” with the vetting of Season 22 star Taylor Frankie Paul, as sources say they were unaware of the domestic violence allegations against the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” breakout.

An insider connected to the ABC staple told TMZ that Bachelor Nation producers neglected to do their due diligence with 31-year-old Paul — who became popular on Hulu’s “Mormon Wives” — because they were so focused on upping viewership. Both ABC and Hulu are owned by Disney.

The Daily News has reached out to representatives for ABC for additional information.

Paul’s former partner Dakota Mortensen has accused her of physically attacking him and has repeatedly reported her to Utah’s Department of Children and Family Services for alleged abuse of their 2-year-old son, Ever.

Paul denies the accusations that she assaulted Mortensen during an incident in his car over a year ago, and a second allegation that she choked him in an altercation in the past month. Rather, Paul alleges that Mortensen got physical with her in recent weeks.

Both parties have been ordered to take part in a psychiatric evaluation.

Regardless, with other “Mormon Wives” looking to distance themselves from Paul amid the allegations, Hulu has halted production on the fifth season, which premiered Thursday.

While it’s unclear how deeply ABC looked into Paul, she was never a squeaky clean prospect, having already pleaded guilty in 2023 to aggravated assault and being placed on supervised probation. That stemmed from a drunken fight she had with Mortensen in front of her two eldest kids, while suffering a miscarriage.

Paul’s plea resulted in the dismissal of charges including child abuse and criminal mischief.

The Mormon #MomTok influencer — who notoriously engaged in “soft swinging” with ex-husband Tate Paul, with whom she shares daughter Indy, 8, and 5-year-old son Ocean — in September that she’d be starring as the “Bachelorette,” and the first non-Bachelor Nation alum to do so.
