Roseanne Barr wishes co-star Randy Quaid would 'leave his wife' for her

Roseanne Barr has some strong feelings for her co-star, Randy Quaid.
“I’m in love with him and I wish he would leave his wife and marry me,” Barr told the Hollywood Reporter. “I enjoyed making out with him so much that I wrote extra scenes where we would make out.”
The pair play love interests in Barr’s new single-camera sitcom, “Meemaw: A Modern Day Fable,” which has not yet been picked up by a network or distributor. It follows Barr as Rose, “a patriotic grandmother who is the matriarch of a mixed-race prepper family in Texas.” It also stars “Sopranos” alum Drea de Matteo as her Jewish-Cuban daughter who is married to a Black character played by Omar Gooding.
According to the description, Rose becomes determined to throw her granddaughter “the greatest bat mitzvah that’s ever been in Bovine, Texas” despite her lack of funds. Instead of throwing in the towel, she uses “everything at her command” to find the money, including “her formerly dormant sexuality” which she finds newly aroused by the local sheriff, who is played by Quaid.
Quaid has been married to his wife, Evi Quaid, for 37 years. They tied the knot in 1989. Quaid was also previously married to Ella Marie Jolly from 1980 to 1989, with whom he shares a daughter, Amanda Marie Quaid.
Barr, meanwhile, has been married three times and has five children. She is currently in a long-term relationship with writer-composer Johnny Argent. They have been together since 2003
